St. Patrick's Day

As you can probably tell I made this card for St. Patrick's which is just around the corner.  Yes, here is another purple card so you will have the bare with me I couldn't do it all in green you know.

I must confess I colored this Tilda and the Stone wall sometime ago and put them away use another day, well today in another day so here they are.  I decided not to put any flowers on this card, thought they would take away from the shamrocks so you might think the card is a little plain.

I used my Cricut to cut out the shamrocks, I also used a Cheery Lynn Doily die a long with a regular paper doily that you can by at Michael's.  The sentiment is cut out using a Nestie die, the floral piece behind Tilda I did some stitching on just to give it another look, then I added the satin ribbon and bow plus some bling on the shamrocks.

Here is one of my many quilts. We had the opportunity to take a trip to Ireland and Scotland in 2010 so when I saw this fabric with shamrocks on it I had to get it and make a quilt to help us remember our marvelous trip.  It was a once in a life time for us and I don't ever want to forget it.  Both sides of our family are traced back to these two countries so it really made the trip special.  I had a friend do the quilting on it and she quilted shamrocks all over it, can't get much more Irish than that.

Janie's Birthday

This card was made for my very special friend which I'll see later today.  She has been such a help in making me addicted to Tilda's, cards and all the supplies that you need!  Without her I wouldn't have a blog and I wouldn't attempt to enter a challenge.  Thank you Janie for being my friend!!!
It's Janie's birthday today so I wasn't sure if I should enter this before she gets the card or not but decide why not - she will have the real thing.
I sure hope she likes it.
Love the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
This sentiments says it all.  As time goes by and with Janie's help I hope to get better at this because I sure love making cards and using all the great things I have.  Hope your weekend is a great one.
My plans are to enter this in the Just Magnolia "Use a Doily"

Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to look at my new blog. May you have a blessed day and stop by again.

How does your garden grow

This card was a fun card to make.  Love this little Tilda with seeds and used a SU stamp of a tractor and wagon in the background.  My good friend Janie had the corn stalk punch that she let me use.  Added a little fence behind to make a break between the grass and where she planting the seeds.  Add the swirl and the sentiment using a Nestie.

Love

Here is the Valentine I made for my husband this year.  As you can tell I like the color purple.  I colored Tilda with heart chain with my copics, then used a Nestie to cut her out.  Once that was done I used a Silver Leaf pen around the edge, behind her I used a Marianne die along with a Cheery Lynn doily die.  The sentiment was cut out using a Nestie heart die.  I added a small tag with the sentiment Love, some purple ribbon and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The challenge I'm entering is
Just Magnolia "Make a Tag".

Tennis Anyone

This was a fun card to make since there are a lot of tennis players in our family.  I not only used the Edwin stamp but I put my Cricut to work as well.  The sentiment is from Magnolia and it's on a Nestie label.   The floweres are from Wild Orchid Crafts   and added some dew drops to finish the card.

A Spring Day

I love this Tilda with a Straw Hat so I had to put her walking on a path lined with tulips.  As you will notice as time goes by that I love the color purple and have to really try hard to use other colors.  I hope to get better at this writing bit as time goes by.  This will be my last post for several days, going on a road trip to Seattle.

This card was made for my grandson on his 21st Birthday.  I used a SU stamp and cut it out with Nesties.  I used Stickles on the tree and under the tree, added ribbon and flowers and dew drops to finished.  Tried not to get too fusy with this card.

Waiting for the fish to bite.

On this card I used Edwin waiting on the Fish which I colored with copic markers.  I also so masked Edwin and stamped the log I then masked the log and once I put the mask back on for Edwin stamped a background SU.  After coloring everything I used a wonderful stiple brush that came all the way from the UK thanks to Anne and Janie to do the sky and clouds, I used Bashful Blue SU ink pad. Once that was done I added a few flowers, didn't want to over due it since it was headed to our son for his birthday.  You know a guy thing.

Gone Fishin

This is a card that one of my granddaughters love so thought I'd share it with.  I used the Tilda Gone Fishing along with the Cheery Lynn screen door, fence and the sun flower. Then I used the Doohickey grass die and a Nestie for the sentiment.  I scored the card stock using the Scor-Pal to look like siding on a house.

Dreaming of Summer

This is a favorite of mine, just love this window which I used a Spellbinder die to cut it out.  Tilda Longing and Tilda with Butterfly Jeans are also favorites of mine.  I used the Doohickey fence and a cute little butterfly from Marianne dies. I added some pearls using a Pearl Pen.  All the coloring was done with Copics and Prisma Pencils.   Here in Montana we start thinking about summer in February as our winters can be kind of long.

Valentine Love Letters

I made this card for my best friend to tell him how much I love him.  This darling Tilda Writing is sitting on a bag full of letters.  The hearts were cut out using the Spellbinders hearts and I also used a Doohickey lace border die.  I finished it with pink polka dot ribbon along with the pink flowers.  This card I made last year so now I have to get busy and get one made for him this year.
