A Special Wedding

Well, as you can see I'm back on my blog once again.  My good friend Janie wanted me to enter the Midweek Magnolia challenge so here I am and hope I can remember how to do it although I do have some wonderful notes that Janie supplied me with.

I made this card for my granddaughter’s wedding, she is the first to get married out of my seven grandchildren.  Amanda is also my first grandchild so the wedding was a special day for us as well as the  bride and groom.

The theme of the wedding was Pink and Yellow so that is what I used to create this card for the kids.  I added some white lace and ribbon along with pink pearls on the swirls.

Oops, this picture doesn't go with the wedding card but I haven't figured out how to delete it!
The lighting wasn’t very good the day I took these pictures so I hope you can see them good enough.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope your week is full of blessings.

Angel with a wish

I was sitting here thinking about all the things I needed to get ready for the arrival of the puppies when all of a sudden I remembered my sister-in-law’s birthday was coming up the end of this month.   With that thought I put things in high gear to make this card for her now as I knew I wouldn’t have time later.

I am very lucky to have such a sweet sister-in-law  however I don’t get to see her and my brother very often since they live in Texas.

When I went to pick out some flowers I was amazed that I didn’t have any Aqua or Turquoise flowers except for the two you see.  Needless to say I was on my computer and ordering as many as I could find.

This little Tilda image has always been a favorite of mine so what better time to use it but on a card for a sweet sister-in-law.

Added a little something on the inside and after looking at it I should have done more – Oh well that’s what happens when you are in a hurry.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog and hope to see you stopping again soon.  Have a wonderful week!
