A Happy Birthday

I made this card for my granddaughter who is turning 20 on Wednesday, it’s hard to believe how fast they grow up.  I have two married, two more out of college, two still in college (one is married), one working in the oil fields in North Dakota and one that will be starting college in the fall.  So sad not to have any little ones…….now I will have to wait for the great grandchildren.

As you can see I ventured out of my comfort zone and used one the those sweet Wee stamps.   Isn’t she jus the cutest thing!  I also got some new Cheery Lynn dies and tried my hand at a couple of the flowers.  I also got the cute little set of tags so had to use some of them.

Here’s the other flower.  Really had fun making them.

This picture didn’t turn out very good.

Wedding Day!

Our granddaughter’s big day is tomorrow and the Lord has been good to us by granting us a sunny day!!  I hope to add pictures of the wedding at a later date.  The theme is country with a rustic look as well and her colors are eggplant and tan.   We made the invitations so I used some of the left over paper to make their card.

I used some dies that I have but for the life of me I can’t remember what they are but I really like the look.   The sentiment is from a Wedding group from Fiskars and this says it all.

The flowers are all from WOC and the leaves are from a MS punch.

I used some beautiful silk ribbon to make the bow then I added a glittery bad in the center.

This is a look at the inside and as you can see I picked another sentiment from the Wedding group  of Fiskars.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and if you leave a comment that will put the icing in the cake for me.  Now off to help with more preparations for the wedding.

Graduation Day!

This is a card I want to share with you as I made it for my youngest granddaughter for her graduation from high school.   She was a tennis star all through high school and it’s hard to believe we won’t be going to anymore tennis matches.  To top off her senior year she and her doubles partner went undefeated to the state tournament and remained undefeated taking the state championship.  Needless to say we were so proud of them both.

I’m sure you can’t tell it but the paper is a glittery paisley print done in blues which were her school’s colors.   This little Tilda cutie has helped me with a lot of cards, now she will have to wait till they start graduating from college.  Which the way times goes by won’t be long at all.

I love arranging flowers on my cards a long with bows, making girls cards is so much easier than making boys cards.

Here’s a look at the inside and this says it all.   Now I’m making a card for her sister who will be getting married in just eleven days.   My they grow up way too fast.
Thanks for stopping by and may you have a blessed week!
