A Happy Birthday

I made this card for my granddaughter who is turning 20 on Wednesday, it’s hard to believe how fast they grow up.  I have two married, two more out of college, two still in college (one is married), one working in the oil fields in North Dakota and one that will be starting college in the fall.  So sad not to have any little ones…….now I will have to wait for the great grandchildren.

As you can see I ventured out of my comfort zone and used one the those sweet Wee stamps.   Isn’t she jus the cutest thing!  I also got some new Cheery Lynn dies and tried my hand at a couple of the flowers.  I also got the cute little set of tags so had to use some of them.

Here’s the other flower.  Really had fun making them.

This picture didn’t turn out very good.

A quick look at the inside of the card.

Thanks for stopping by and hoping you have a great 4th of July!

  3. We both love our Tildas but its wonderful to see how beautifully you can color these delightful Wee images as well. This little beauty is made into the cutest of cards & I know your grand daughter loved it. Ruth Ann you make my world a brighter place by being such a great friend & it makes me so happy when you share your wonderful creations with your family & friends ... You never make a card just for something to post but always make them for some special occasion. I'm blessed to have several sitting on my desk which I am so proud of. I'm looking forward to what you make next. These flowers are simply gorgeous & just that little bit of added ink really makes them pop !!!
