Wanted to share with you my latest card. Seems like the only time I can find the time to make a card is when someone’s special occasion is coming up. This card is for my sister-in-law who is also a quilter so I’m sure she will like it…..at least I hope so.
I just love this adorable Tilda image. The striped background paper is from a NitWit collection but right now I couldn’t tell you which one. I colored the image with my copic’s . I then decided to cut her out to give the card some more dimension I then used some of my newer dies and cut out the white and plum card stock. When I got to the sentiment I was thrilled to discover that the smaller die worked perfect for the stamped sentiment.
Here’s another view…..
There is a homemade flower that I made quite some time ago using a Cheery Lynn flower die which I placed some bling in the middle. I have a lot of new flower dies but haven’t had the time to really play with them. I hope to use then on some of the cards I make in the future.
Now for the inside…..I must say my head was not in perfect working order the day I made this card. After the card was all done I realized I really didn’t go the extra mile in decorating the inside.
Oh well I guess it will have to do. Found this sentiment in some older clear stamps I have and decided it was the perfect one.
Now I will share a quilt I made for my other sister-in-law. I really made two and let her choose which one she wanted and brought the other one home.
The pattern was a simple one but the colors brought it to life I think. Now to figure out who will get this one.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by always love hearing from you.

Ruth Ann I don't know why I didn't get a notice that you had posted this sweet card ... Good thing I checked my blog or I might have missed it ... It's nice to see you are sure getting your money out of this little cutie but each one is colored so wonderfully & made different it your own personal way. I have one in my craft room that I get to admire every day. Love the frames you made around her & how the smaller one worked so well for the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteAnd that quilt is gorgeous... What a pretty & thoughtful gift. You put so much time & love into your creations & I hope others appreciate them as much as I do.
hugs, Janie
