It’s me again and this time I am late with a birthday card, just to much going on in my life. I have two more to make in September so I’d better get a move on it.
Now for this card I went looking for a Tilda and came up with an old but I think she’s a cutie. Used an old Spellbinder die for the border around her. I then went to my Cameo and started to play a little and I mean a little as I still have soooo much to learn. This is what I came up with. Wendy is our daughter-in-law and a very special member of our family.
I love these colors and just had to use them in this card. Wendy would probably like it if it were in yellow…..oh well.
A closer look……
Last look.
I made her a set of place mats and this is what they look like, they will be on their way tomorrow. As you can see I have yellow in them.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and may you have a glorious week.
Beautiful card Ruth Ann, lovely Tilda image and like the shape and design of your card... Such pretty place mats and what a useful gift

For some reason I'm not getting a notification when you post something new so glad I checked your blog or I might have missed this little cutie. She's just beautiful Ruth Ann. I think I used her a long time ago for a Christmas card but she is also perfect for this Birthday card. Would never have thought outside the box like you did. LOVE the shaped card & so proud of you for doing it with your Cameo. You'll have to share how you did it. Those place mats are going to brighten up Wendy's table & are a lovely thoughtful gift. Once again you make me proud to say you are my good friend
ReplyDeleteFirst, love the place mats. You are so talented!!! And you card is adorable, Tilda may be an old one but she's one of my favorite. And love the color scheme too!!!! Great job on this, I'm sure Wendy love this gift.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you commented. I had my computer 'cleaned' and lost all the blogs I follow and contacts. It has been a mess. I love your card and this is one of my favorite Tildas!
ReplyDeleteSo cute Ruth Ann! had to chuckle at the yellow. One of our granddaughters loves yellow! When she started coloring with me a couple years ago at 5 years old, I had to stop her from coloring faces yellow even! She wanted to color everything yellow! : ) It's not a color I gravitate toward either. Beautiful Tilda coloring and card making! and placemats!
