Well it’s graduation time once again so I made this card for my granddaughter’s boyfriend. This very, very nice young man is quite the avid bow hunter so I decided that only fitting thing was to make his cap and gown out of Camo. I asked my very good friend Janie to take on the mission of finding me some camo paper. I knew when I asked her that she would come through for me and she did!

A Birthday Wish
This card I made for my son-in-law for his 50th (the big one) birthday! He manages a ranch where he grows alfalfa hay that is sold to customers who own horses. This kind of work puts him on a tractor most of the summer months so I thought this would be the perfect card for him.
I’m not sure he will appreciate it since he lives on one for at least four to five months. So to top that off I found this fleece panel of a John Deer tractor so I just had to put it together and add that to his birthday gift.
Now last but not least the thing that I had first and for most planned to give him for his birthday is this shirt that I embroidered for him. So once again I’m not sure he will appreciate it but I thought it would be funny. I’ll let you know what his response was……will be taking it to him this afternoon.
There you have it……..I really had more fun making these so we will see if my sense of humor went over well or not.
Thanks for stopping by and hoping you have a blessed week.

Buzzin By
Here is a card I made for my brother to help celebrate his birthday. I wanted to do something totally different (not one Magnolia stamp) and this is what I came up with. I colored the hive and the cute little bees a long with the flower on the sentiment with my Copic markers.
I used the SU stamp Just Buzzin By to make this light and cheery card. The flowers are from a Cheery Lynn die set called Build a Flower #1. The sentiment was a Spellbinder die.
This was the first time using the new dies so I wasn’t real sure if I was doing it right.
I used Tim Holtz Distressed Ink to add some color to the sentiment.
Just a quick thank you for stopping by. I hope to post another card real soon and this one won’t have a Magnolia stamp on it either which is so unusual for me.
