Wanted to share with you a card I made for my sister-in-law. She and my brother work the summers at Glacier National Park in one of the gift shops and she love huckleberries. So off to see what I could come up with and this Tilda with blueberries was it.
You might notice that I have what looks like quilt blocks behind her and that’s because she is also a quilter. The tree with the tiny flowers on it is a die that was a gift from my friend Janie. I even did some embossing on the blue paper and of course I loaded it up with flowers.
Thought I’d share with you my latest bag…..it’s actually a Carry On bag for traveling. Not sure if I want to ever make another one but then you never know.
Thanks for stopping by and I always love hearing from you.
I love your cute little (Huckleberry) card. I must say your sister has a fun way of spending the summer. Your bag is lovely and looks complicated. Hope you and Janie can get together and have some fun.
ReplyDeleteLove it my friend !!! Your Tilda makes my day done up in those wonderful colors. That little quilt behind her is simply the best embellishement for this card. I'm trying to figure out how you did it ... Too clever !!! The tree is sweet with the tiny flowers & your bouquet
ReplyDeleteYour card is wonderful Ruth Ann. I love the home spun look.
ReplyDeleteWell done. Your travel bag is fantastic ~ that would drive me crazy to make!

Beautifully colored and designed Ruth Ann! I'm sure it's out where she can enjoy it, even if she is working a Summer job that we're all jealous of! lol Awesome carry on bag too! ... hmmm... thinking it might make a wonderful stamp bag too!
