A Special Wedding

Well, as you can see I'm back on my blog once again.  My good friend Janie wanted me to enter the Midweek Magnolia challenge so here I am and hope I can remember how to do it although I do have some wonderful notes that Janie supplied me with.

I made this card for my granddaughter’s wedding, she is the first to get married out of my seven grandchildren.  Amanda is also my first grandchild so the wedding was a special day for us as well as the  bride and groom.

The theme of the wedding was Pink and Yellow so that is what I used to create this card for the kids.  I added some white lace and ribbon along with pink pearls on the swirls.

Oops, this picture doesn't go with the wedding card but I haven't figured out how to delete it!
The lighting wasn’t very good the day I took these pictures so I hope you can see them good enough.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope your week is full of blessings.

  2. Ruth Ann this is beautiful & what a keepsake for the kids ... I'm so glad you showed this card & entered it in the challenge so others can see what amazing creations you make. The little bride & groom are colored perfectly & I'm sure the happy couple looked wonderful in their pink & yellow colors. Good luck in the challenge & I must say you would get an A for being an outstanding student ... You learn So fast ... It's a treat to teach you the things that some of my wonderful online friends such as Sharon, Bev, Cami, Pam, Shirley, Patty & my oh so smart daughters were patient enough to teach me along the way. There were many others too but I was never as quick to catch on as you.
Can't wait to get home so we can do some crafting together ...
    Hugs, Janie

  4. Gorgeous wedding card for your granddaughter and her husband. Love this color scheme...pink and yellow are so pretty together, and so soft and romantic. I'm sure you're anxiously waiting for Janie to get back home so you can craft together. I miss her crafting also. Can you put some glue on her chair when she gets home so she can't move around?! Just kidding. Have a beautiful day Ruth Ann.
