Best Friends Birthday

I haven’t posted anything for several months but hope to do better.  I made a card for a grandson-in-law and will post it later.  This card I made for a very  special friend that winters in Arizona and it makes for a long winter with her so far away.  After the winter we’ve had I can’t say I blame her.

I must admit that I’m a sucker for new craft things so it makes it easy for Janie to get me involved in new adventures.  We are into making paper flowers and I’m sure we will both be posting some in the future once we get it sort of mastered.  Any way let me get back to the point I wanted to make…..the  point is she likes Lady Bugs so as you can see there are two on this card.  One is part of the Tilda image and the other is a stamp I had and added it to the sentiment.

A closer look.   Once I finished the card I needed something to go with it and this is what I came up with.

I make a lot of my purses and she always comments on them so decided she needed one.  Think it goes with the card.   She loves flowers and as you can see I had to put a Lady Bug button on a leaf.

Thanks for stopping by it means  a lot to me. May your week-end be a blessed one.

  1. Have I told you lately how much I LOVE my purse !!!
I got it in the mail yesterday but I'm STILL smiling. Ruth Ann you have no idea how you made my day with this beautiful card & purse. What I don't understand is WHY I don't have this stamp of Tilda holding the ladybug or the little ladybug you put on the sentiment. You know I'm going to HAVE to order both of them now ... You are not only a GREAT friend you are now getting to be QUITE the enabler ... Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these lovely gifts. On the downside think how much money you would have if I would never have introduced Miss Tilda to you ... Big hugs from the heart, Janie

  8. I think I may be suffering from "Janie" envy! LOL! The only problem she is so sweet that you can't envy her, but rather just love her! She will love this card and the bag is beautiful. Beautiful job Ruth....you are a wonderful friend to have!
