Happy 50th Birthday

Well, here I am again.   July, August and September are busy card making months for me.   This card was made for my son’s birthday, OMW if he’s that old what does that make me!

As you can see I’ve used three of the new Magnolia stamps, just couldn’t resist these for a card for my son.   He is truly an outdoors person so these fit the bill.

This is a close up of Edwin with gray hair…..at 50 he should have gray hair right.

Just had to give you a close up of this adorable Moose.

One more close up.   The clouds are a Memory Box die…..really like these clouds.

Well there you have it…..now I need to put on my thinking cap as I have a daughter whose birthday is coming up soon.

Here is a quilt that I made for our son, just got sent off in the mail.  As you will be able to see it's full of wildlife.

Thanks for taking the time to stop my blog.  Hope you are having a wonderful week-end.

  2. Ruth Ann, this little scene you've created is so wonderful. Looks like you have become the enabler as after seeing this adorable moose & hiking trail l'm going to have to add a few more stamps to my "collection". Your son will love this card made with love from you. I just love how you've put this all together & colored everything so perfectly. You have given me great inspiration & once I get back home I will try to turn the inspiration into some cards of my own to post.
    Hugs, Janie

  6. oh wow! You make cards and quilts! That's amazing Ruth Ann! When I started stamping I quit quilting after awhile... maybe some day I'll get back to it. I sewed for years...loved it. Started in 7th grade and never looked back!
Handsome quilt and handsome card! The years do have a way of getting away from us, don't they! boo! Oh well, as long as we're here... we'll stamp and color! = ) To bad we have to eat and sleep! hehe
